Young Giraffe
The young of giraffe enter the world from about 6 foot in the air, as their mothers cannot lie down for extended periods of time. Like all plains game and antelope they need to learn how to run as soon as possible in order to at least have half a chance to reach adulthood. Long eyelashes, large hooves and rubbery lips all resemble the camel, but they are not related to the camel.
